I have exactly the aforementioned problem. Very frustrating and more than frustrating is the response from Microsoft, would it really have been that hard to try it out rather than just posting a link??

No, I had to ditch win 11 and switch back to win 10 which was a relief as no real advantage of 11 and the UI menu options in x are far simpler and more intuitive

Hello everyone,
I figured out the issue. Windows 11 automatically disables the driver/device.
-
Go toDevice Manager.
-
LocateXbox Wireless Adapter for Windows in theNetwork adapters section.
-
SelectXbox Wireless Adapter for Windows to bring upward the Backdrop window.
-
Click on Change Settings and then Enable.
Afterwards I did that, it started working immediately.

I but started having an result with mine that was similar... It seems to mostly work now only when connecting information technology shows equally a generic xinput controller instead of the xbox controller. Switching the driver and restarting simply defaults it back once again. Everything works except for the mic for voice chat... gives an fault. Was fine until a few days ago but this is a fairly fresh install and I don't see annihilation that would have affected it.
